  • Telangana is the largest producer of turmeric and sweet lemon in the country and ranks third in chilies
  • Lakshadweep Islands is a union territory of India There has been a steady growth of fish production which crossed 12,000 tonnes in the recent years which is about 5% of the estimated fishable potential.
  • Puducherry is union territory in the South of India and huge potential for cold storage facilities, cattle/poultry feed manufacturing facilities.
